This page is a practical website policy and not a substitute for advice from qualified legal counsel.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and security tokens. They can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure usage or deliver advertising depending on how a website is configured.
2. Our current use
Monoforge offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement to understand visits, page use, traffic sources, devices, approximate region and successful enquiry submissions. The Google tag library may load in a disabled state so the integration can be detected and secured, but measurement events remain blocked unless you select Accept analytics.
We do not intentionally send enquiry text, names, email addresses or confidential project information to Google Analytics. We do not use analytics consent as permission for advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-site advertising tracking.
Our hosting, access-control and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent technologies to deliver pages, maintain security, prevent abuse, balance traffic or preserve an authenticated session where access controls apply.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
- Security and abuse prevention, including request integrity and access protection.
- Network routing, availability and delivery of website assets.
- Authentication or session continuity when a restricted version of the website requires sign-in.
- Form operation and short-lived interface state needed to submit an enquiry.
- Local storage of your analytics preference for up to 180 days so the website can remember whether you accepted or declined optional measurement.
4. Optional analytics and your choices
Use Accept analytics in the preference panel to enable Google Analytics 4, or Continue without to use the website without optional analytics. You can change this choice later through Analytics preferences in the footer.
When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set identifiers such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish browser sessions and returning visits. Declining or withdrawing analytics disables measurement, keeps consent denied and deletes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain.
Most browsers also allow you to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the website, access controls or the enquiry form from working correctly.
5. Future marketing or measurement tools
If we introduce advertising, personalisation or additional non-essential measurement technologies, we will update this policy and extend the preference controls where required before those technologies are activated for a visitor.
